Dave Simpson

Sabotaging since 5 May 2012

Dave simpson watched his first leeds match in 1975 and wrote for the club's leedsleedsleeds magazine from 1998 to 2011. He writes for the Guardian on music, and for his acclaimed book - The Fallen - tracked down 50 odd ex-members of Mark E. Smith's group. He sees music and football as very similar: both involve heights of pleasure, mad obsession and bucketloads of pain.
