Harry Paterson

Sabotaging since 1 Jan 2012

Harry is a freelance writer and music journalist based in the UK. He has contributed articles on music, politics, poetry, popular culture and current affairs to many publications, both in print and online. Appearing every month in Powerplay Rock and Metal Magazine, he also writes for Classic Rock, Bass Guitar Magazine and Soundsphere Magazine, among others. He is currently hard at work on his first book, a history of the miners’ strike in Nottingham. Scheduled for release in 2014, the 30th anniversary of the dispute. Originally from Alloa in Scotland, he now lives in Nottingham, England, with his wife, freelance photographer, Sue, two of their three kids and four cats. He plays guitar badly, stud poker erratically, chess with a growing consistency and eight and nine-ball pool with a degree of proficiency. He also loves Indian food, anything from the Laphroig distillery, Alloa Athletic and books. Passionately. Oh, and the symphonies of Gustav Mahler. Equally passionately. Go figure….

5 Myths About Arthur Scargill And The Miners’ Strikes That Simply Aren’t True
