"John Anthony Lake was born in Leeds and worked for some years in Greece, Japan and Finland before resettling in the UK. His writing has appeared in dozens of publications, and his story ‘Hidden Among Leaves’ was long-listed for the 2007 Fish-Knife Crime Short Story Award. He is the author of several novels, including the first two installments of The Leeds 6 Trilogy, Hot Knife (2008) and Blowback (2011), both from Armley Press. Part three is expected sometime in 2013. He lives in South London.".
