Alexander McQueen x PUMA Climb Low Trainers

Probably not suitable for changeable British weather, mind.
Probably not suitable for changeable British weather, mind.

McQ by Alexander McQueen, the label's lower-priced line for regular folk like you and us, is joining forces with German sportswear mainstays PUMA for these superbly clean Climb Low trainers.

With a classic black-black colourway in premium leather and nubuck, we are in luxe territory here: these aren't your average "gonna whack 'em on for the BBQ" low-tops. Just imagine one of your mates, after two Rekorderlig, gets the football out in the garden and throws it your way; you step back, ready delicately cushion it with your instep, deciding to risk the life of your kick-arse trainers to save face in-front of your pals. That's stress.

These are "I'm going to a gallery opening" trainers or "maybe I'll just wear these around the house because fuck it - it never rains in my house" trainers and we're almost fine with that until we remember that the price point will probably be about the same as a second-hand moped. Still ace, though.

These will be available soon at various McQ by Alexander McQueen locations.
