Florida Renaissance Festival

Feb. 7-March 15
Where: Quiet Waters Park, 401 S. Powerline Rd., Deerfield Beach
Cellino loves a joust and a tussle and he comes from a country steeped in history so this is a chance for him to experience the days of kings, queens, knights and jesters at this annual festival with jousting knights, wandering minstrels, and magicians.
Benefit to Leeds United?
Could well find some new talent for playing or managerial positions. The battle re-enactments could come in handy for tactics on how to handle the Football League.
Threat to Leeds United?
Could well find some new talent for playing or managerial positions. Codpiece could appear on next seasons kit.

Kite Day

Feb. 15

Where: Haulover Beach Park, 10800 Collins Ave., Miami Beach
What better place to get high than a kite festival. If you’ve a flimsy vehicle you want to launch this family-friendly event offers free classes, demonstrations and competitions. There’ll be “monster kites” including a 100-foot squid, a 30-foot scuba man, a 30-foot Nemo, a Bates and Rudy.
Benefit to Leeds United?
Standing around looking up all day will prepare his neck for when he glances how far it is to the top of the table from where Leeds currently are.
Threat to Leeds United?
If he decides to bring this idea back to England it won’t be long until there are long white lines all over Elland Road.

South Beach Wine & Food Festival

Feb. 19-22

Where: Various locations in South Beach
sobefest.com
This is the ultimate foodie convention in the area featuring events hosted by TV personalities, celebrity chefs, cooking authors and top wine and spirits brands.
Benefit to Leeds United?
A Miami Diet looked good in Scarface so there’s every chance Cellino can bring some back some new ideas to chop out in the Thorpe Arch kitchens. .
Threat to Leeds United?
The potential to bring back huge pre-match banquets as an idea could see the club heading back to the heady days of when Gregan and Butler carted their huge mid-rifts around in white shirts.

Florida Arcade & Pinball Exposition

Feb. 20-22

Where: The NSU Arena at the Don Taft University Center, 3301 College Ave., Fort Lauderdale

He’s a rock and roll fan so he’s probably seen Tommy. This is a long way from the old gaming centre on Mill Hill with more than 200 pinball and video games from private collections across Florida, all free to play (with admission) plus retro and modern PC games too.
Benefit to Leeds United?
If he becomes a Pinball Wizard it might make him stop thinking he;s a Football Wizard and leave the on-field work to the coaches.
Threat to Leeds United?
Massive silver balls fired around the pitch just before kick-off. A horrible metallic clunking sound every time we kick off and electronic racking up sounds every time there’s a goalmouth scramble.
