Alvaro Pereira: The Exciting Uruguayan Wingback Spurs Want From Inter

According to Italian newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, Andre Villas Boas' side are looking to secure Inter Milan's unsettled Uruguayan wingback Alvaro Pereira on loan in January.

The left-footed 27-year-old has managed only two league starts for I Nerazzurri and is keen to cement his place in Uruguay's World Cup team this year with some more regular football. A strong-runner with quality on the ball, the player is equally adept at full-back or on the wing but has struggled in an ageing Inter side which has failed to recapture past glories.

So, Spurs fans: Should AVB stick with playing Jan Vertonghen at full-back or pick up Pereira on loan? Let us know in the comments, as you watch that video of the wingback's Porto days.
