It hasn't come as much of a surprise that Robin Van Persie’s £24m transfer to Manchester United at the beginning of this season has brought what most people predicted: goals, goals and more goals. For a player who has scored 24 Premier League goals this season it seems only fitting that he should give the Reds their 20th title with last night's first half hat-trick against Villa. RVP opened the scoring in the second minute before completing his hat-trick after just 33 minutes. All three were pretty impressive but it was the 13th-minute volley that has got everyone talking. Alex Ferguson hailed it as “the goal of the century” and compared the player's impact on the club to Eric Cantona.
