Arsenal: Could £3mil For Huntelaar Be An Absolute Steal?
Fans were crying out for the club to sign an alternative to Olivier Giroud up front for years - a quick, skilful striker, who can create his own opportunities against the biggest teams. They got him in Danny Welbeck but when he nearly got himself sent off at the weekend it dawned on fans, if Welbz was gone who'd they have left? Not Giroud, he's injured. Not Theo, he's injured. Not Sanogo, he's lol. Could Dutch hitman Huntelaar be the man to fix things?
Well, probs not, nah. It already failed with Ollie Giroud up-front so why would they want another? Giroud offers more physicality and, despite fans having seen milk turn quicker, is probably quite a lot more mobile than the Schalke man. It might be worth a punt at £3million - according to reports in The Express, that's what he'd likely fetch - but he's not the man to fix a chronic inability to kill off opponents.
That rests squarely on one pair of shoulders. You know whose.
