Arsenal: Could Gnabry Loan Kickstart German Starlet's Career?
Southampton manager Ronald Koeman has realised that he may need some players for the coming season, and so, according to the Guardian, has set his sights on a season long loan deal for Arsenal’s Serge Gnabry.
Gnabry, who is yet another of those talented young German players who seem to be everywhere at the moment, made 14 appearances last season scoring one goal. This could be good news for Gnabry, who while finding it hard to break in to Arsenal’s first team, clearly has talent and a season starting in the Premier League could do the world of good for.
For Southampton this signing would not completely replace Lambert, Lallana, Chambers, Shaw, Lovren and the rest of the Southampton squad that managed the club’s best ever league placing last season and have subsequently been sold this summer as punishment, it would at least be a start. They may even be able to play a training match or two.
