What’s going right?

Everything seems to be going right this year.  We have a great young team, money to spend on talent, and the future looks promising.

What’s not?

We concedes too many goals in the last ten minutes of games.  The amount of goals scored against us in the last ten minutes is equal to the amount conceded in the first 45 minutes of all premier league games so far this season.

Got the right manager?

Many clubs would have parted ways with a coach who hasn’t won a trophy in years but Arsene Wenger is a great coach and he’ll stay at the club for many more seasons.

Star player?

The biggest story this year has been the rise of Aaron Ramsey.  Mesut Ozil was supposed to be our best player but somehow the German wizard often looks average next to the tirelessly working Welsh goal machine.

Who would you like to sell in January?

Bendtner needs to leave- we don’t want him, he doesn’t want to be here.  If cover for Giroud is secure I see no reason to keep him around.

Who do you want to sign?

Most fans won’t agree with me but I want Wayne Rooney.  He’s a skilled, experienced striker and could play up front solo or partner with Giroud in a 4-4-2 (something we haven’t done all year).   More importantly, it would leave Man U with injury prone RVP and kill off any remaining chance they had for a top four finish.

Best chant so far?

“Naa Naa Naa Giroud” seems ubiquitous but to me “How does it feel to be Tottenham” is the best new Arsenal song.

Best opposition player/team you’ve seen?

Man City completely bossed the game against us.  I thought Arsenal had a strong defense and a great midfield.  Sylvia, Nasri, Yaya Toure, and Fernandinho completely outran, outworked and outscored our squad.

Biggest **** of the season so far?

The biggest **** of the season is any and every person who owns a premier league football club.

The biggest **** of the season for Arsenal is Emmanuel Frimpong who could be great but decided to become a t-shirt designer.  I’m not one to judge but I don’t think people will know what “Dench” means in twenty years.  Perhaps they will and I’m completely out of bounds questioning his business decisions- he surely has more money than me.  What makes him the ***** of the season was his race rant on twitter.

In October Frimpong’s Twitter stated that if he were “white and English” he’d get more playing time.  Its too bad he feels that way.  Sadly there are many places where race and nationality matter.  I’m sure it stinks to train every day and not make the team sheet but the idea that Arsenal is a racist, xenophobic club is preposterous.

Wenger doesn’t care about England, sure he has a British core right now, but from 2005 to 2008 he hardly had a regular first team English player.  Furthermore, most of Arsene’s best players- Thierry Henry, Patrick Viera, Kanu, Sol Campbell and Ashley Cole- were black.

Frimpong is still capable of being a vital part of Arsenal’s team but his place right now has more to do with “Dench” than it does race or nationality.

Funniest Moment of the season so far?

Liverpool’s fifth goal against Spurs in North London made me chuckle, but the moment that had me on the floor laughing this season was this.  To Boruc’s credit, Arsene hasn’t been wearing his puffy jacket this year- a constant source of amusement.

End of season prediction?

Arsenal won’t win the title but as runner-ups we will finish above Man United, Tottenham and Chelsea (which feels like a trophy more than fourth place ever could).
