A member of the Black Panthers made a live appearance on CNN while wearing a Celtic shirt.
Robert King is a member of the Angola Three, who controversially served a large number of years of their prison service in solitary confinement, after a prison guard was murdered.
King spent 29 years in solitary confinement in the Louisiana State Penitentiary - often known as ‘Angola Prison’ - before his conviction was overturned and he was released.
A renowned Celtic fan who has made numerous visits to Glasgow, King chose to wear his club’s colours during an interview on CNN and claimed that the shirt represented “oppressed people like me”. Watch the video below.
