Reports claim that the Chile coach Jorge Sampaoli wants to manage Chelsea, but only if they launch a sensational raid on Arsenal.
Sampaoli inspired Chile to a Copa America glory in the summer and the Argentine is said to want his talisman Alexis Sanchez with him at Stamford Bridge.
Sanchez has scored 31 goals in 91 appearances for Chile and was crucial to their Copa America run, which culminated in the Arsenal forward scoring the winning penalty kick against Argentina in the final.
Sampaoli has become disillusioned with life in Chile and is actively trying to leave his post.
"I never imagined in such little time the image of an idol who gave a lot to Chilean football could be destroyed.
"I am frankly disappointed and in these conditions I cannot keep leading the team when my mind is elsewhere."
