Chelsea have reportedly made a £28m bid for Lazio's Felipe Anderson, who is a target for Manchester United. The Metro cite a Spanish site reporting that Chelsea are eager to persuade the Brazilian to join them rather than Louis van Gaal's side.
Felipe Anderson is a technically brilliant attacking midfielder with 11 goals and 10 assists for Lazio this season. His latin flair and tactical nous would be a welcome addition to an already formidable Chelsea side.
Chelsea have been underwhelmed by their new signing Juan Cuadrado, who today has been linked with a move to Barcelona. With the Colombian possibly heading out of the club after half a season, Jose Mourinho has already identified a more suitable replacement in Anderson.
Manchester United are also thought to be very interested in the 22-year-old, but it's Chelsea who seem to be moving faster. If United want to pip Chelsea to the player, they'll have to act quickly.
