Chelsea, Man United And Europe's Elite Preparing For £75Million Pogba Battle
Year upon year Paul Pogba gets better and year upon year the rumours of where he'll end up chop and change. But this summer seems like it may actually be the transfer window that Pogba leaves Juventus and Serie A behind.
Accroding to the Mirror, Chelsea, Man United and Man City are all amongst the leading pack of clubs rich enough to secure the Frenchman's services. Pogba has been dubbed the '€100m man' and looks set to be the subject of one of the biggest and most expensive bidding wars of all time. The English clubs will be joined by the likes of Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and PSG in this epic transfer battle.
Pogba's agent has turned up the heat by saying, "Paul is happy at Juventus but later this year or next year we will see what opportunities have been created. When the league cannot satisfy such a player then it is time to go."
It seems that Pogba is keeping all avenues open and all the interested parties will be hoping they can convince the 21-year-old to sign.
However, it seems Pogba likes the idea of making a return to England, having expressed his admiration for Chelsea, Arsenal and City in the past couple of years. But it seems Man United still have a place in his heart.
Pogba's agent has said that "[Pogba] holds Manchester United very dear and has very nice memories."
So it looks like Man United have the upper hand, and they certainly have the financial firepower to outgun all other competitors. Whichever way this one ends up going, it will certainly be exciting to witness the bidding commence. Roll on summer.
