Dick Advocaat walked away from Sunderland yesterday and it's a decision that could have repercussions for Leeds United.
Leeds signed Will Buckley on an emergency loan deal last week that was due to expire in January, with an option to buy the player.
However, if the new Sunderland manager - whoever that may be - decides that he wants Buckley back to help the club's fight against relegation, they could recall Buckley within 28 days of the start of his loan.
Buckley was named in Sunderland's 25-man Premier League squad at the beginning of September and would be eligible to play for the North East club. Leeds fans will be hoping that the new Sunderland manager doesn't feel that Buckley is integral to his plans.
