Crystal Palace Boss Neil Warnock Endures Night Of Twitter Abuse
What is it about him that people don't like?
Crystal Palace aren’t on TV too often, which goes some way to explaining why every football supporter on Twitter took the opportunity to spend the entirety of the Eagles’ match with Sunderland, abusing their manager Neil Warnock.
Of course, the fact that Warnock is a cranky conspiracy theorist who believes that every referee is on a personal mission to get him sacked, puts him squarely in the firing line of Twitter’s finest wits. Here’s the best of the night’s action.
Couple of hours until Sunderland trample all over Crystal Palace, making Neil Warnock's face even more contorted & horrifying than usual.

Warnock's going to not talk about the referee because he doesn't want to get in trouble and then talk about the referee and get in trouble.

Oooh, that looked like a stonewall pen for Palace. Neil Warnock is furious already. pic.twitter.com/pYsMqNeyo1

Lovely header, clearly onside too. You can bet your life Neil Warnock is raging at the ref though.

Neil Warnock looks like a character from a PC first person shooter from when they couldn't get the faces quite right. #thefootball

Ref to Sky: Want to see Neil Warnock light up like a roman candle in your post-match interview?
Sky: Oooh, yes please.

Do you think Neil Warnock has had Botox? He has the SMOOTHEST forehead I have ever seen. I'm consumed with jealousy at his lack of wrinkles.

Yes, I did just make this Neil Warnock picture. Seemed a good idea at the time. pic.twitter.com/DxSnQWoobb

If Warnock put as much effort into coaching his players as he does moaning to & about refs, his teams would be world-beaters. But he doesn't

@Betfair what odds will you give me for Neil Warnock to sign Paddy Kenny in the January window??

Neil Warnock will no doubt accept defeat with his usual good grace… #CRYSUN pic.twitter.com/qzX0tWTOMP

Neil Warnock. Even more terrifying than Tony Soprano. And his mother.
