Dedé: The Brazilian Defender Man United Must Beat Chelsea To Sign

With the performances of Dedé seeing his stock rise higher and higher, interest from Manchester United and Chelsea (according to our mates at talkSPORT) is hardly a surprise.

The Cruzerio defender is expected to form the defensive cornerstone for the Brazil national team for the 2014 World Cup and both Chelsea and United could do with his services, with Jose looking to replace aging John Terry and erratic David Luiz.

Inarguably, David Moyes needs the player much much more. Central defence has been as big a problem for the team in transition as central midfield with Rio's legs looking shot and Vidic a shadow of his former self, signing Dede would be imperative.
