What’s going right? Roberto Martinez has given Everton a winning frame of mind. Where once we were a team known to throttle games under David Moyes, we are now pretty much capable of outplaying anyone. It must be said though, that the dour Scot did get the ball rolling.
What’s not? For the first time in my life as an Evertonian I can almost say nothing's going wrong. If the next transfer window sees us lose the best of what we've got, that would be a huge failure.
Got the right manager? There were question marks over Martinez's appointment, especially as he had a baffling recent history of a cup win coupled with relegation. Thankfully, he seems to be the perfect boss, always articulate, honest and brimming with insight.
Star player? Gareth Barry. I thought he was a poor signing at first and I was relieved it was just a loan. Not anymore, he's the glue holding Everton together, mopping up when moves break down, making the right pass when attacks are in full flow.
Who would you like to sell in January? No one really, but I'd be surprised if Johnny Heitinga wasn't for the chop.
Who do you want to sign? Another striker with good pace, or a footballing centre-half. Hernandez from Man U would be good, not sure there are many of the latter around. I wouldn't mind us taking a punt on Berbatov either.
Best chant so far? "Allez, Allez, Allez OH.......Alllez, Allez, Allez OH, We're Everton FCeeee, Roberto's Blue Armeee". It works better out loud.
Best opposition player/team you’ve seen? Ramsey for Arsenal or Aguero for Man City spring to mind. Both their teams are equally impressive too. I'd give it to Man City though, as they dismantled us at the Etihad. And it didn't look like they were trying that hard.
Biggest **** of the season so far? David Moyes. I loved what he did for Everton over 11 years, but recent comments he made about the current squad sounded like the ramblings of a six-year-old.
Funniest Moment of the season so far? Each time a £70k-a-week pundit attempts to pronounce "Deulofeu".
End of season prediction? Top four is realistic, the title seems just out of reach. We live in hope.
