Chelsea legend Gianluca Vialli turns 51 today. The former Italian international signed for Chelsea from Juventus in 1996, going on to score 21 for the Blues until his departure in 2000, including a season as player manager.
During his twenty years as a professional footballer, Vialli scored 259 goals at club level. In 1992 he became the world's most expensive player, moving from Sampdoria to Juventus for £12.5m, also representing his country at two World Cups.
As the video shows, the Italian scored some superb goals for Chelsea, but this one against Barnsley in 97 has to be our favourite.
