Here's Why Man United Want To PSG's Brilliant Brazilian At Old Trafford
Manchester United are contemplating a £30million bid for Paris Saint Germain playmaker Lucas Moura, according to the Daily Star, who report that David Moyes was present at PSG's home tie against Bordeaux on Tuesday.
PSG will be reluctant to part with their midfield magician, and would probably demand a higher fee than that which is quoted.
Man United previously tried to sign Lucas Moura from São Paulo in 2012, but the £37 million tabled by PGS proved too rich for Alex Ferguson's tastes: "When somebody’s paying €45 million for a 19-year-old boy you have to say the game’s gone mad."
Lucas Moura's tally of 3 goals and 5 assists this season is impressive considering he's been out of favour, making only 9 appearances in Ligue 1.
Man United would guarantee the Brazilian starlet first-team football, which could prove decisive in convincing him to make the switch.
So, United fans, could you see this transfer materialising in January? And would he represent £30 million + well spent?
