Man Utd are favourites to sign Karim Benzema from Real Madrid despite Arsenal interest, according to the Daily Star.
It's not difficult to see why. The 27 year old has scored 87 goals for Real Madrid since joining in 2009, but is understood to be reconsidering his future at the Spanish club after the sacking of manager Carlo Ancelotti.
Benzema has been a long time target at Man Utd, and with LVG looking to strengthen his attacking options next season, this could be the perfect time to get the chequebook out.
However, it's known that Madrid president Florentino Perez is a big fan of Benzema and if the club were to sell it'd undoubtedly be for big money only.
The Emirates could also be tempting for the French international, with Arsenal rumoured to be interested. Let us know what you think in the comments below.
