According to the Nottingham Post, Forest are closing in on signing Swansea's Gambian winger Modou Barrow on loan for the remainder of the season.
The 22 year old isn't currently a main fixture at the Liberty Stadium, but the first Gambian ever to play in the Premier League is highly rated and in him Forest boss Dougie Freedman could see a potential way around the stifling FFP regulations which limit transfers outside of the window.
Freedman already knows the player's abilities, as Barrow had a trial at Bolton when Freedman was managing there. From the looks of his highlights reel, it's not hard to see the potential the Reds' boss sees in him.
