Olivier Giroud is having a successful season in front of goal for Arsenal and added another to his tally last night as he scored in France’s 2-0 win over Denmark.
It was Giroud's tenth goal for his country in a season in which he has scored 17 goals in 26 games for Arsenal. On a goals-per-game ratio this is easily Giroud's best season for the Gunners and with six strikes from his last six appearances, he's ending the campaign in rude form.
Giroud hasn't always been the most popular figure at Arsenal and there's often been the perception that he's not the world class performer they need to land major honours. Does his recent form prove that he's the man to continue leading the line for Arsenal or do they still need to enter the transfer market for a new striker this summer?
