The Scottish Sun have claimed that Celtic are desperate to land a left-back before the start of the new season and are targeting St Pauli's Marcus Halstenberg.
Celtic have missed out on the likes of Mitchell Dijks this summer and now seem to be turning their attention towards the 23-year old Halstenberg.
A versatile player who can also play as a central defender or holding midfielder, Halstenberg signed for St Pauli in 2013 from Borussia Dortmund. After an impressive campaign last season a number of clubs are now chasing the left-back, with Hannover battling the Scottish champions to land him.
As you’ll see from the following video, he even takes a mean penalty. Is this the man to solve Celtic’s left-back problem?
