Monaco is a dirty word in some parts of North London today, but thankfully not in the blue and white half as Spurs target Aymen Abdennour has expressed interest in joining the club from the French Ligue 1 side.
'Le Roc Tunisien' has struggled to find a place in the Monaco starting line-up, although has netted once for the French side in the Champions League.
According to The Mirror the 25 year old centre back has been told about the move and expressed interest, although maintained that he wants to focus on his current club until a potential move takes place.
With 33 caps for Tunisia and one goal under his belt, Abdennour has some top level experience, but how will he cope in the Premiership? It's a big step up from Ligue 1, and if he's not been impressing his Monaco coach, is it a risky move for Spurs to spend the money, even if it is only likely to be in the single figure millions.
