Liverpool Are Chasing £30m Argentinian Hitman
The Metro have reported that Liverpool could be lining up a sensational £30million move for Napoli's Gonzalo Higuain. Rafa Benitez has already brought in Gabbiadini from Sampdoria and since Napoli are struggling to comply with FFP regulations, they could be willing to listen to offers for the Argentinian hit-man.
With a misfiring, lacklustre Balotelli struggling to make an impact for Liverpool, it'll be their top priority to recruit an out and out goalscorer to help fill the void left by the departed Luis Suarez. Higuain has already netted 13 times for Napoli this season and his £30million release clause actually seems somewhat of a bargain in the modern market. Will Brendan Rodgers and/or the board be deterred by previous big money transfer failings? Perhaps, but it's sink or swim for Liverpool at the moment.
