Liverpool Can Upset Arsenal Further By Signing Belgian Wonderkid Dennis Praet
Back in October, reports suggested that Arsenal and Spurs, North London's Cain and Abel, were both chasing teen Belgian playmaker Dennis Praet. We reckon he should long 'em off and join Liverpool instead - after, he'd fit in much better there, anyway.
19-years-old and already a starter for Belgian giants Anderlecht, Dennis Praet carries the number ten shirt and acts accordingly. A beautifully poised, technically gifted player, Praet is yet another on the Belgian production line that's already got the world's top clubs clamouring.
Appearing at practically every youth level for his national side so far and making a few stellar appearances in his side's admittedly shoddy Champions League showing, Praet would be a beautiful alternative to Philippe Coutinho - a talented but mercurial playmaker at Liverpool and one who looks prone to exhaustion at times - and would help assuage the issues of breaking down stubborn sides.
He's agile, adroit and capable of handling himself physically against much larger opponents, he'd be a steal if Liverpool could pick him up for anywhere near the £6.2million that Transfermarkt value him at.
