Liverpool Will Go All Out To Sign Barcelona Star If Sterling Is Sold
The Raheem Sterling transfer saga has, unsurprisingly, already started with the Liverpool ace undecided regarding his future. Liverpool have already started identifying possible replacements and Barcelona's Pedro Rodriguez is top of their list according to the Daily Mail.
Liverpool have slapped a £50million price-tag on Sterling, but if that doesn't deter the likes of Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City, then at least some of that money will be used to go all out for Pedro.
Pedro, 27, is thought to be growing tired of being fourth choice in Barcelona's front-line having perviously been such an integral part of Barcelona and Spain squads that won the Champions League and World Cup respectively. The immensely talented Spaniard is ready for a new challenge and Liverpool seem ready to offer him that.
The only stumbling blocks are Champions League qualification and Barcelona's transfer ban. Even though not being in the Champions League may not be an issue for Pedro, his club may not be willing to let him go seeing as they can't sign anyone until 2016. However, Barcelona may look internally for a replacement which makes sense considering Pedro was a product of the renowned La Masia youth academy anyway.
