Louis van Gaal is keen to strengthen Manchester United's squad with Dutch utility man, and former Liverpool striker Dirk Kuyt. Kuyt, who has impressed in van Gaal's Dutch squad at left-back, right-back and up front in Brazil, won the Turkish league last year with Fenerbahçe, scoring 18 goals in 63 league appearances for the Istanbul club.
Whilst at Liverpool, Kuyt bagged 51 goals in 208 games for the reds, however it is Kuyt's work-ethic and versatility that has piqued his international manager's interest. Louis van Gaal has also allegedly expressed interest in bringing two other Dutch players to Old Trafford, one of which being Arjen Robben, as he continues to add to a squad that brought in Luke Shaw last week.
