According to reports in The Sun today, Man City are leading the race to bring ex-Man Utd star Paul Pogba back to the Premiership, and with an £85m asking price, all of their Premiership rivals have been out priced.
The Juventus and France player has been viewed as "the one that got away" by United fans ever since leaving the club in controversial circumstances in 2011.
Since then the 22 year old has gone on to be one of the most highly rated young midfielders in the world, with 20 goals for Juve and 22 caps for the France national team.
City fans know seeing Pogba in a sky blue shirt would be a kick in the teeth for United fans, making the potential deal even sweeter for that half of Manchester. Is it worth Pellegrini splashing out that amount of cash, however? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
