Manchester City have had a poor season but at least a couple of their players can count themselves unlucky not to have been named in the PFA Premier League Team of the Season.
Sergio Aguero was the best player in the league until injury derailed his campaign, while David Silva has enjoyed another consistent campaign.
Silva in particular has a solid claim to be in the team, with the stats proving that he is far more deserving than Liverpool's Phillipe Coutinho who took one of the midfield slots.
This head-to-head sees the players tied on assists, but with Silva dominating the Brazilian midfielder in every other department, despite having played two less games this season.
Looks like turning on the form at exactly the time when PFA members cast their vote has worked a treat for Coutinho.
