Man United are set to test Tottenham's resolve with a £25m bid for Hugo Lloris, should David de Gea complete a move to Real Madrid.
According to the Evening Standard, The French stopper is seen as the perfect replacement for De Gea, who joined Man United in 2011.
Louis van Gaal is also facing a separate fight with Real Madrid, this time for Valencia's £35m-rated defender Nicolas Otamendi.
The Daily Star are suggesting that although Man United have been admirers of Otamendi for a long period of time, they are keen to avoid a bidding war with Rafa Benitez.
Therefore, the Red Devils must move early if they are to having a chance of securing their man.
