According to the Daily Star, Man United bosses have told Real Madrid that David de Gea will not be sold unless Spanish defender Sergio Ramos is included in the deal.
Real president Florentino Perez values Ramos at £40m and wants De Gea plus £20m in cash from United.
But Old Trafford chief executive Ed Woodward knows how desperate Perez is to land De Gea this summer and will not be bullied by the Spanish giants. Indeed, Louis van Gaal and co are prepared to make De Gea, 24, see out the remaining 12 months of his contract if Real refuse to meet their demands.
Sergio Ramos has been learning English for the past 7 months and is reportedly keen on an Old Trafford switch.
