Man United In Shock Move For Barcelona’s Brilliant Defender?

In what Daily Express has described as a “SENSATIONAL” move, Man United are looking to ex-player Gerard Pique, currently of Spain, Barcelona and having sex with Shakira fame, to fix their leaky backline.

It likely won’t happen. Why would Pique - a player who’s long lamented his time in the north-west under S’Alex’s broken blood-vessel rule - take a big ol’ step backwards to a team in turmoil? He’s happy in Spain, the weather’s lovely, he’s treated like a king and he gets to play alongside Javier Mascherano NOT a revolving door of has-beens, never-weres and Blackett.
