21 year old defender Reece James has joined Wigan from Man Utd for a fee of £1m.
The impressive youngster, who came through the ranks at United, spent time on loan at Huddersfield and Rotherham, and was wanted by Nottingham Forest and Fulham.
James has signed a three year deal at Wigan, with new manager Gary Cardwell saying "Reece is a young player with a bright future. He has been schooled by one of the best academies around and has impressed both at Under 21 level and whilst on loan."
