Man Utd To Ditch Januzaj For Brazilian Ace
According to the Manchester Evening News, Man Utd could be set to ditch their 19-year old Belgian hotshot Adnan Januzaj as a bargaining tool for signing either Marquinhos from Paris Saint-Germain, or Seamus Coleman from Everton. The lithe winger, whose emergence last season was one of the few positives from David Moyes' tenure, looks seemingly destined for the scrapheap at Utd, having failed to adapt to the tactical and technical rigour of Louis Van Gaal's infamous 3-5-2 formation.
Januzaj himself has lamented his failure to adapt in recent weeks, claiming to have struggled with the defensive responsibilities required of him to function under the new boss. Januzaj has often found himself jostling with Angel di Maria and Juan Mata for a starting spot under the Dutchman, who is said not to be too keen on the young winger. PSG have been long-term admirers of Januzaj's talents, and could offer him a route out of Old Trafford as part of a deal for the young Brazilian centre-back Marquinhos. Roberto Martinez, however, may offer Januzaj a chance to revive his career in the Premier League in a part-exchange for Seamus Coleman; a player who would contribute a significant amount more to the current Utd set-up.
