Man Utd Flop Moyes 'The Man To Lead West Ham To Glory'?

According to a report in today's Mirror, West Ham could be set to sack manager Sam Allardyce at the end of the season - with a view to hiring ex-Man Utd boss David Moyes in his place.

Allardyce has long clashed with West Ham's owners, David Gold and David Sullivan, and despite performing ably all season - indeed, despite going 3rd earlier in the season - Allardyce's time looks set to be up at Upton Park.

Gold and Sullivan are said to be keen admirers of the oft-derided Scot, and are keen to bring him in for talks. Moyes has only recently joined Real Sociedad and is performing well, notching up victories against both Barcelona and Real Madrid, however Gold and Sullivan are said to be convinced that they can lure Moyes back to England.

With expectations high and their long-touted move to the Olympic Stadium looming, West Ham are said to be keen to make a statement of intent in the coming years, and moving for Moyes may be West Ham's gain, and Man Utd's loss.
