Manchester United have made a £32.5million bid for Valencia's Andre Gomes, according to The Star.
Gomes played against England in Portugal's 1-0 victory at Wembley recently. Mourinho was reportedly there to get a last look at Gomes before a bid went in.
Super agent Jorge Mendes looks after Gomes and is confident a deal can be done with United. The power he wields in getting deals done is not to be underestimated, especially when Mourinho (also a Mendes client) is also involved.
Gomes is widely regarded as one of the best young midfielders in Europe and would be a fantastic addition, if United can get a deal done.
