Manchester United Are Set To Offer Bumper Contract To Barcelona's Brazilian
Manchester United have stepped up their efforts to lure Dani Alves to Old Trafford. The Barcelona right-back's contract runs out this summer and he will be available for free. A number of clubs from all over Europe are chasing his signature, but United are hoping to fight them all off by offering the Brazilian £150,000 per week, according to the Metro.
The 31-year-old is still full of energy and his pace, aggression and experience make him one of the best right-backs around. United feel he is worth the bumper contract they are putting on the table.
PSG are also seriously interested in Alves, but the French side have less room to breathe than Man Utd in terms of Financial Fair Play regulations. United now look firm favourites to sign Alves and are once again flexing their financial muscle in a bid to show the football world that they are back.
