Arsenal brought Gabriel Paulista to the club this week and it looks as if the spending is not going to stop there.
The Metro reports that the Gunners will make a £26m bid for the Atletico Madrid striker Mario Mandzukic, who have found opportunities hard to come by since Fernando Torres returned to the club.
Mandzukic only joined Atletico in the summer from Bayern Munich and has scored an impressive 16 goals in 27 games for the Spanish champions. The Croatian international was a key member of the Bayern Munich side that won the Champions League in 2014, scoring in the final against Borussia Dortmund.
With 48 goals in 88 games for Bayern, Mandzukic is a striker that’s been on the top of his game for some time. Here’s what Arsenal fans can expect if the cub manages to conclude the deal before the transfer window slams shut.
