Arsenal made a foray into the transfer market last week with a deal for Krystian Bielik, and it's looking more and more likely that Villereal star Paulista will be joining the Gunners, but even that's not enough to satisfy Wenger's appetite for the youth.
Not according to Talksport anyway, who report today that Arsenal are keeping close tabs on 20 year old Italian Daniele Rugani, whose displays at the back for Empoli have caught the attention of a number of European clubs. Despite his youth, Rugani turned out to be key in Empoli's promotion campaign and is thought to be a future international star in the making.
Rugani made his first senior appearance for Italy in November and is co-owned by Juventus, who are understood to want somewhere in the region of £2.5m for the player. What do you think Arsenal fans? If this deal and Paulista comes off, that's a mighty strong team of youngsters you've got there.
