Meet 'The New Sergio Aguero' Who Could Rescue Liverpool's Season

It’s fair to say that Liverpool have really missed that Luis Suarez bloke who used to score all the goals for them and was generally pretty brilliant at football.

Rickie Lambert and Mario Balotelli have unsurprisingly not cut the mustard as replacements this season but Brendan Rodgers has someone in mind who might be more suited to the challenge. The Mirror reports that Liverpool are chasing the Villarreal striker Luciano Vietto, with a figure of £12m mooted.

Likened to his fellow Argentine Sergio Aguero, Vietto has scored 12 goals in 23 games in his first season in La Liga, following a summer transfer from Racing Club. Here’s what fans at Anfield can expect to see from the forward if Rodgers gets his man.
