Chelsea may have notched up their first win of the season with last night's victory in the Champions League, but they're still a long way off from reaching form. This makes Mourinho's January transfer deals all the more important.
Reports today suggest that the Chelsea boss has targeted 18 year old wonderkid Ruben Neves as a priority target.
The defensive midfielder broke through the ranks at Porto aged only 17, becoming the club's youngest ever scorer in the Primeira Liga. Since then he's gone on to attract attention across Europe with his smooth passing and confident attacking play.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are also said to be interested in the teenager, but with Mourinho's Porto connections it seems there's only likely to be one winner in the race for his signature.
