It was always going to be a tough task for any player to replace Steven Gerrard at Liverpool, but Brendan Rodgers seems to have come up with the perfect solution: get two men instead.
That's according to reports in the Daily Star, which say Rodgers is monitoring the progress of Hanover midfielders Lars Stindl and Leonardo Bittencourt.
Stindl, in the video above, has bagged 11 goals in 114 appearances for the Bundesliga side, while the younger of the two Bittencourt plays on the wing and could be Liverpool's for as little as €6m in the summer. Rodgers has already announced that he won't be making any signings in January, but as we all know, there'll be a big Steven Gerrard sized hole in Liverpool's midfield next season unless Rodgers gets the club chequebook out.
Let us know what you think Liverpool fans, are these the right men for the job?
