Man Utd's scouts have been busy in Italy lately watching a couple of young stars who could be on their way to Old Trafford in the summer.
Brazilian playmaker Felipe Anderson was the focus of scout Jim Lawlor's attention, but it's understood he also checked up on 21 year old Dutch defender Stefan De Vrij.
Anderson has no trouble banging them in, netting 10 times already for Lazio this season, but is under contract until 2020. Man Utd will also face some competition from other Premiership sides if they want his signature, with Liverpool and Arsenal both previously expressing interest.
At only 23, De Vrij has already notched up an impressive 25 caps at full international level with two goals to his name. He made over 100 appearances for Feyenoord before joining Lazio in 2014. The new Jaap Stam? Time will tell, but it's an exciting prospect.
