You can't imagine there'll be many dressing room's around Britain that can admit to listening to a poodle-rock anthem before kick off but that's exactly what Crystal Palace's on loan defender, Paul McShane, has done. His personal selection may not totally reflect the tastes of his teammates but nevertheless, "Here I Go Again" by Whitesnake has been included in the Palace dressing room playlist anyway.
Not that it's the worst offender on this playlist. Palace's dressing room is a difficult crowd to please and it's usually down to Patrick McCarthy to try to find something to appease the crowd but on the odd occasions when the responsibility lies with others, all hell breaks loose.
To say Paul McShane's opening gambit of Duck Sauce's "Big Bad Wolf" went down badly is like saying Anne Frank became a little bit anxious when she heard footsteps coming up the stairs. The natives were not happy. The result of it all is that Wilfried Zaha now knows that you should NEVER, under any circumstances, touch an Irishman's iPod.
