Their has been a lot of scepticism over Tim Sherwood's managerial career, despite the fact that his time at Spurs and Aston Villa has seen him build a fine win percentage and reach the FA Cup final.
The outsider's impression of Sherwood is that while he's a good motivator who will be able to reap results in the short-term, he lacks the tactical acumen to achieve long-term success at a club.
Perhaps it's merely a communication problem. This video from Villa's 3-2 defeat to Leicester demonstrates that Sherwood has plenty to say, but that his players are unlikely to have a clue what he's on about. Can anyone translate this for us please?
