Schneiderlin Or Kramer Set For January Arsenal Move

Arsenal have been crying out for a top class defensive midfielder this season, and they are now faced with deciding between two potential players this January.

Morgan Schneiderlin, 25, and Christoph Kramer, 23, are both being heavily linked with the Gunners, but it's likely that Arsene Wenger will only take a hit on one of the two holding midfielders.

Schneiderlin had been in talks with Southampton over a new contract, but the Daily Star are now reporting that Arsenal will come in with  a bid that would blow negotiations out of the water.

Kramer, on the other hand, would cost around £25 million after impressing at this year's World Cup. With the German midfielder currently on a two-year loan from Bayern Leverkusen to Borussia Mönchengladbach, any deal could prove difficult, however.

Arsene Wenger confirmed he would spend money when necessary, saying: "If we find the right player we will do it. I said that many times, without any doubt. I’m not scared to spend money and if you go out with me at night, you will understand."
