Southampton: Koeman's Keen On Ururguayan Ace
Southampton boss Ronald Koeman, according to the Daily Mirror, is looking to bring Uruguayan international Alvaro Gonzalez to the gradually re-filling St Mary's Stadium.
Much has been made of Southampton's complete shit storm of a summer that has seen all the players that fans cared about (bar Morgan Schneiderlin) leave.
Koeman, whose been tasked with mopping up the Southampton mess and re-building a Premier League ready squad, has already added seven new faces to his squad, spending £47million in the process.
Gonzalez, who played in all four of Uruguay's World Cup fixtures, is currently plying his trade at Lazio; but Koeman's hoping an £8,000,000 bid may take the defender to the South Coast.
