The Daily Mirror are reporting that Tottenham currently lead the race to sign hot prospect Breel Embolo, the £10m rated Swiss striker currently at FC Basel.
West Ham and Aston Villa have also been linked to the wonderkid, but Pochettino sent scouts to watch the 18 year old score at the weekend and is thought to be most likely to bring the Cameroon-born player to the Premiership.
The Spurs boss knows he must provide a reliable partner for Harry Kane if he wants to build on the youngster's breakthrough season last year. Would playing two youngsters up front together be too big a gamble? It's unlikely Embolo will go for less than £10m, which seems a high price for a back up striker. What do you reckon, Spurs fans?
